Club Penguin Hints, Tricks and Cheats

Hey Agents!

Clup Penguin has announced that a new game for the Nintendo DS is coming out soon. Here is what they said:

It’s been over a year since the original Elite Penguin Force for Nintendo DS came out. We’ve heard that lots of you like it and you’ve even been asking if we’re making another one. We’re really excited to be the first to tell you about the brand NEW EPF game for the Nintendo DS that’ll be released mid 2010!! Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert’s Revenge will have cool stuff you said you liked from the first game – and TONS of new surprises.

Since the team’s building it right now, we want to be able to show you some behind-the-scenes work we’re doing. Just for a start, here’s a sketch of something you’ll be seeing in the game…

A few days ago Penguins go to decide which new item they would prefer to see from April:

Club Penguin asked:

We’re thinking about a new item and we’re really hoping you can help us pick a special action to go along with it.

If you had a new hat with an action, what would you like to be able to do the most?

Most of you decided that the action should make tree grow out of the ground – crazy heh?!

Here’s a message from Club Penguin:

“Big news! Starting this Friday there’s a brand new play at the Stage! Secrets of the Bamboo Forest has a few surprises and the team’s been working really hard to get it all ready.

I shouldn’t give away all  the secrets, but the team wanted to show you the picture of a dog (see on the left).”

“Pretty cool statue, don’t you think?

Also on Friday, you’ll find a new puffle furniture catalog in the Pet Shop. We’re excited about that, too, because we think you’re going to be stoked about some of the new stuff for your puffles.

The Medieval Party is one of the all time favorite parties in Club Penguin so they have issued a sneak peek of what you’ll see this year.

CP are bringing back some of the stuff cooler stuff… and there will be new things, too.

I’ve heard tales of a dragon in the Mine… and that the Coffee Shop and Pizza Parlor will be fit for royalty (and jesters, too)!

For members, there will be a Knight’s Quest which should be really fun.

The Medieval Party will go from May 8 – 17th, so get ready to costume up and use your imagination all over the island!

By the way….Where do knights go to get something to eat?

… To an “all knight” diner!

The Sled Racing game at the top of the Ski Hill is due to be upgraded later today.

First, you will be able to buy a toboggan and ride down the hill with it. This traditional sled will be available at the Ski Hill, and if you hold it while you enter the game, you’ll get to ride it!

Then, Clup Penguin are adding music to the game too.  Have you ever noticed how much cooler games like Aqua Grabber, Catchin’ Waves, and Card-Jitsu are with music in the background? Well, Sled Racing is getting some pretty cool music in it too.  But if you prefer, you can switch it off by clicking on the question mark on the bottom of the screen.

CP are about to announce that penguins will be paid for doing jobs on the island – like the tour guide or Secret Agent (and maybe to work in the Pizza Parlour??)

This is what they said:

“Have you ever thought about taking the quizzes to become a tour guide or PSA (Penguin Secret Agent)? If your penguin is old enough, and you’re interested in helping out around the island, you might want to consider the challenge…

It’s going to be announced in the newspaper later this week that starting May 1st, penguins will get paid every month for doing those jobs!

I don’t want to give all the details away just yet (Aunt Arctic, the editor of the Club Penguin Times, will have an update soon), but let me say it’ll be worth your while.

What’s the first thing you’d do with extra coins every month? Do you like to spend or do you like to save?”

Hi Penguins,

There’s been a bit of extra news from Club Penguin in the last few days, so here goes:

New Pin:

In case you missed it the new pin is at the top of the lighthouse and is a flower called Lily!

Paint by Numbers

Club Penguin said that they would have a new Paint by Letters book ready

It will be in the library at the top of the coffee shop (click on the bookcase).

But CP said that they:

“found some bugs that need to be fixed, and unfortunately the game won’t be ready to play yet”.

They will let us know as soon as possible when it will be ready – some come back for more news soon.

Oh, and it will called:

“Lime Green Dojo Clean”

Puffles will do More!

Club Penguin have also said that they are working on making puffles do more, like play with their toys:

“You’ve been asking for a really, really long time about doing more with your puffles in Club Penguin, especially with their furniture. We’ve been working on it, and we’re really excited to hear what you think.

Starting on Feb. 13th, try putting some puffle furniture to your igloo and check out what happens when your puffles see it! Puffles playing more in igloos is just the start — later this month there are a few more puffle surprises including a great big Puffle Party! The party will start February 20 – more news to follow soon”

So it looks likes there’s loads coming our way. Can’t wait!

CP has issued the following update for those of you who have been asking about being able to get the Club Penguin DS game in other countries:

“We have got a great update that we wanted to tell you about:

The Club Penguin Elite Penguin Force DS Game is already available in English for some Latin American countries, and we’ve confirmed that in the spring of 2009 (this spring!), it’ll be on the shelves in the United Kingdom and Australia!!

All present and future EPF Agents – Let us know what you think!”

As one party comes to an end another one is about to start!

Here’s what CP said:

“The Fiesta Party will warm up Club Penguin from tomorrow, Friday January 23rd to Sunday 25th January, and we hope you’re going to love the decorations and surprises.

Here’s a peek of what you’ll see starting this Friday!”

There will be maracas, party clothes, barbeques at the dockand a lot of fun for everyone!

There is only good news this weekfrom Club Penguin! Where should I start from?

Dance Contest

The member-only dance party has come to an end (it was brilliant wasn’t it?!) BUT CP decided that the Dance Contest game was so good that they have kept it AND everybody can play it! The only thing that is for members-only is the multi-player play option – I think that is a great idea!

The DJ3K game is only still running – a very easy way to get coins.

Member Badge

Speaking of members…Club Penguin have added a badge to your player card if you happen to be one – the badge looks like the picture on the left and I guess it’s to show other penguins who is a member and who isn’t.

I think it looks pretty cool.

And…CP have also announced that they wil make it visible to other penguins so I guess it will show on you chest as you waddle around the island?

Catalogues

There are two new catalogues on the way!

On January 30th there will be a new Snow and Sports catalogue and…on February 6th there will a new clothing catalogue – and CP says that new clothes will be awesome.

New login page

Have you noticed that CP have changed the login page? It the second new style of login that I have noticed in the last few weeks – I wonder if they are trying different versions?

It does look like they are trying to get more members to sign-up!
