CP are bringing back some of the stuff cooler stuff… and there will be new things, too.

I’ve heard tales of a dragon in the Mine… and that the Coffee Shop and Pizza Parlor will be fit for royalty (and jesters, too)!

For members, there will be a Knight’s Quest which should be really fun.

The Medieval Party will go from May 8 – 17th, so get ready to costume up and use your imagination all over the island!

I hope you are enjoying the puffle party as much as I am!

My favourite bits is going to the lighthouse and having the puffle artist make a drawing of me! The picture on the left shows the first attempt!

The Underground Pool area is also very cool as is the ball play area. What is your favourite area?

I have also been taking my puffles around for walks on the island to see what funny things they get up to!

Club Penguin have also written some hints on how to take care of puffles and make them play with the furniture:

• When their health bars are full, try to not have your puffles eat or sleep. If you do, their health will decrease
• Their health will only increase if you ask them to play, eat, or sleep by clicking their puffle cards
• When your puffles choose to play, eat, and sleep on their own, their health will decrease

While you’re out and about don’t forget to pick up the free puffle bandana at the Cove:

Though it is only available in English, CP are happy that everyone has the chance to see it. As always, they (and I) would love to know what you think.

In Other News: CP have also said they’ve squished the puffle furniture bugs – they are still be making improvements and would love to hear how things are going with your puffles now.

Oh and one last thing, I noticed that a boat is on the horizon… …and we all know what that means!!! yeaaah! I wonder was free item will be on board?

If you have done so already rush down to the cove and grab yourself the mini-sombrero.

That’s about the only free item that is available during this party – I much preferred the dancing party didn’t you?

There was a clue on the box as it said “Club Penguin Promotions”.

It turns out that he won the limited edition Viking competition that was announced back in October 2008! You can read the original post it here!

With the Viking MrStefan got an unlock code that allowed him to get two free items that are not normally available unless you buy some toys from the stores.

So…he chose to get 2000 free coins and a funky guitar/keyboard thingy – you can see a picture of it below, on his players’s card.

oh yes, he did meet Cadence too!

Dance Contest

The member-only dance party has come to an end (it was brilliant wasn’t it?!) BUT CP decided that the Dance Contest game was so good that they have kept it AND everybody can play it! The only thing that is for members-only is the multi-player play option – I think that is a great idea!

The DJ3K game is only still running – a very easy way to get coins.

Member Badge

Speaking of members…Club Penguin have added a badge to your player card if you happen to be one – the badge looks like the picture on the left and I guess it’s to show other penguins who is a member and who isn’t.

I think it looks pretty cool.

And…CP have also announced that they wil make it visible to other penguins so I guess it will show on you chest as you waddle around the island?

Catalogues

There are two new catalogues on the way!

On January 30th there will be a new Snow and Sports catalogue and…on February 6th there will a new clothing catalogue – and CP says that new clothes will be awesome.

New login page

Have you noticed that CP have changed the login page? It the second new style of login that I have noticed in the last few weeks – I wonder if they are trying different versions?

It does look like they are trying to get more members to sign-up!

So CP has decided to extend the party to Tuesday – yahoo an extra 2 days!

This is what they said:

“Thanks for your comments about how much fun you’re having at the party! It was supposed to end on Sunday but we decided to extend it until Tuesday!! So member penguins – you and your friends can keep competing and dancing for another few days!

Some of you have been asking about Cadence and whether or not she will continue to show up at the party over the weekend and I wanted to let you know that she will be! We’ve heard a few concerns that Cadence won’t show up unless the metal landing pad on the rooftop is clear. Don’t worry–she takes the stairs just like you! So feel free to use the entire area to show off your moves!

As always, we love to hear what you think and what you’re doing at the party!”

But if you are then prepare to dance the night away!

The dance floor has been completely been transformed for the party – you can see a screenshot a bit further down this post.

As you go in remember to pick up a boombox from the box near the door so you can do some groovy dance move on the floor:

The DJ game is back of course and is an easy and fun way to earns some coins:

The picture on the right show a clip of the new dance contest – you have to sign up for it on the table on the right of the dance floor.

Once you join the contest the DJ called Cadence will help you learn the moves – it is quite easy really:

- some arrows will move up on the left hand-side of the screen and you have to click the same arrow on your keyboard when it reaches the grey arrows at the top – for example in the picture above the green down arrow is moving up to the grey down arrow – when it reaches it you have to press the down arrow on your keyboard.

You can choose the level you want to play and you can also dance alone or enter a contest with other penguins! By the way the closer you match the moving arrow with the grey arrow the more points you get. When you quit the game you get coins for your points.

Almost forgot: sometimes you have to press two arrows at the same time and very quickly one after another so it can get tricky – just practice and you’ll get better.

I wish CP would make the party last longer because I really like this new game!

The first floor has also been transformed and there is a new roof-top dancing/dj area – both places have noise making machines!

So, get ready to break down some super cool moves because there’s going to be a lot of music and tons of room to dance–you can even get together with your friends and compete in the new Dance Contest Game!

There are some cool things planned at the Night Club for the party, including three floors to explore and a chance to meet DJ Cadence!
